Q: How do you choose whole grains?
A: Look at the ingredient list on the food label for “whole wheat” or “whole grain” as the first ingredient. For products made with oats rather than wheat, the word “whole” does not have to be mentioned.

Q: Is 2% milk a low fat choice?
A: Although 2% milk is lower in total and saturated fat than whole milk, it is not a low-fat food. It contains about five grams of fat per eight ounce serving. A low-fat food must have three or less grams of fat per serving. Try skim or 1% varieties of milk.
